以死相許？癡情男求女友爸認同 「朝自己腦袋開槍」
「她和我的愛是永遠不朽的...」印度一名男子日前到女友家提親，遭到女方家人極力反對，女友父親甚至要求男子「以死來證明自己的愛」，沒想到男子竟真的拿槍朝自己的腦袋開了一槍，緊急送醫後腦死。
據《新德里電視台》(NDTV)報導，印度博帕爾市的30歲男子羅汗德(Atul Lokhande)是印度人民黨青年團(Bharatiya Janata Party, BJYM)的其中一名領導。3日晚間他前往27歲的女友家向對方家人提親，因遭女友父親拒絕，2人引發激烈口角，最後羅汗德突然掏出準備好的手槍，對準自己的頭部開槍。
當時，羅汗德的叔叔正在屋外的車子裡頭等待，一聽見槍聲，馬上與羅汗德的女友一起將他送醫，醫生緊急搶救後宣布羅汗德腦死，只能勉強倚靠呼吸器存活。
羅汗德的朋友提到，他們的感情已經維持了13年，期間他數度向女友家人提親屢遭拒絕，最後才選擇這種極端的手段。
副警長喬達里(Dharmendra Choudhary)則表示，他們會繼續調查這起案件，並釐清這名男子自殺的原因是否真的如他臉書貼文所述。
